George Souglides: “Beer obsession series expresses our absolute, undiluted love for the golden liquid. ‘Happiness index’ is a play on infographics representing the level of happiness around the world only through the quantity of beer left in our glass. ‘Intensive care’ takes the love a step further in a visual representation of a specific moment in time we have all experienced: ‘I’ll die if I don’t have one right now!'”
George Souglides holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kingston University and a Master’s degree in Communication Design from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London. George is a Creative Director and co-founder of Ioannou+Souglides. With a work experience of over 20 years, he has designed brand identities, advertising campaigns and other communications for clients from various industries, such as Barclays, British American Tobacco, Balfour Beatty, Greythwaite, Bank of Cyprus, Eurolife and the Cyprus University of Technology. His work has been included in design exhibitions in Switzerland, France, the UK, Russia, Greece and Cyprus. He has taught at the Departments of Graphic Communication of the University of Nicosia, the Cyprus University of Technology and the European University.
