The illustration created for TeeTales under the theme of “Beer” is related with the way that beer brings people together, friends, family, or even people you just met at a bar.
The two hands holding the beer bottles are joined into one, forming the letter “U” that stands for “Unite” or “Unity”.
Beer! It makes you see double… and feel single!
Based on vintage retro signs. From the turn of the 20th century until the 1920s, hundreds of beer companies competed for a thirsty public’s attention in a battle waged through ads. I use a retro sign combining a psychedelic effect and typography experimentation to introduce a new version out of it

Beer obsession series by George Souglides expresses our absolute, undiluted love for the golden liquid. ‘Happiness index’ is a play on infographics representing the level of happiness around the world only through the quantity of beer left in our glass. ‘Intensive care’ takes the love a step further in a visual representation of a specific moment in time we have all experienced: ‘I’ll die if I don’t have one right now!’

This series of illustrations follows important points in beer history that goes deep into the history of mankind. The mouse characters are used as a clear reference to the first 2d animation films because this gives an oldschool feeling that suits the “back in time“ concept and also prepare the ground for funny comments.
